2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3. Remove the expansion card riser.
Steps
1. Locate the USB port or USB memory key on the system board.
To locate the USB port, see the System board jumpers and connectors section.
2. If installed, remove the USB memory key from the USB port.

3. Insert the replacement USB memory key into the USB port.

3. While booting, press F2 to enter System Setup and verify that the system detects the USB memory key.

An expansion card in the system is an add-on card that can be inserted into an expansion slot on the system board or riser card to add
enhanced functionality to the system through the expansion bus.
NOTE:
A System Event Log (SEL) event is logged if an expansion card riser is unsupported or missing. It does not
prevent your system from turning on and no BIOS POST message or F1/F2 pause is displayed.
