Supported Hard Drives for Dell PowerEdge R510
Systems—Information Update
This document provides updated information about systems that support mixing
of SAS and SATA hard drives.
• Eight—and twelve—hard-drive systems support both SAS and SATA hard
drives in the same configuration
• Four—hard drive systems do not support both SAS and SATA hard drives in
the same configuration
