Installing the side wall bracket
There are two side wall brackets on either side of the system. The procedure to install is similar.
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
3. If installed, remove the air shroud.
4. Remove the cooling fan cage assembly.
NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. Route the cable
properly when you replace it to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped.
Steps
1. Align the side wall bracket with the tabs on the chassis.
2. Press the side wall bracket with your thumbs until the bracket firmly clicks into place.
NOTE: Route the cables through the side wall bracket.
3. Close the side wall bracket cover with your thumbs until the cover firmly clicks into place.
