Integrated storage controller card
Removing integrated storage controller card
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the air shroud.
4. Remove the expansion card riser 1.
Steps
1. Using Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the screws that secure the integrated storage controller cable to the system board.
2. Lift the integrated storage controller cable away from the integrated storage controller.

3. Lift one end of the card and angle it to disengage the card from the integrated storage controller card holder on the system
board.
4. Lift the card out of the system.
5. Hold the interposer board by its edges, and pull the board until the connector on the board disengages from the connector
on the system board.
