Discovery error message
Error Message:
A discovery error has occurred, please power cycle the system and all the
enclosures attached to this system.
Probable Cause: This message indicates that discovery did not complete within 120 seconds. The SAS cables for your system might
be improperly connected.
Corrective Action: Check the cable connections and x any problems. Restart the system.
Extra enclosure error message
Error Message:
There are X enclosures connected to connector Y, but only maximum of 4
enclosures can be connected to a single SAS connector. Please remove the extra
enclosures then restart your system.
Probable Cause: This message is displayed when the BIOS detects more than four enclosures connected to a single SAS connector.
Corrective Action: You must remove all additional enclosures and restart your system.
Missing disks in virtual disk error message
Error Message:
The following virtual disks have missing disks: (x). If you proceed (or load
the configuration utility), these virtual disks will be marked OFFLINE and will
be inaccessible. Please check your cables and ensure all disks are present.
Press any key to continue, or 'C' to load the configuration utility.
Probable Cause: The message indicates that some congured disks were removed. If the disks were not removed, they are no
longer accessible. The SAS cables for your system might be improperly connected.

Previous conguration of disks removed error message
Error Message:
All of the disks from your previous configuration are gone. If this is an
unexpected message, then please power off your system and check your cables to
ensure all disks are present. Press any key to continue, or press <C> to load
the configuration utility.
