Back-Panel Indicators and Features
Figure2-2 shows the back-panel indicators and features. Figure2-3 shows the indicators for the integrated network adapter and Table2-2 details the
conditions associated with the indicator codes.

System Messages
System messages appear on the screen to notify you of a possible problem with the system. Table2-4 lists the system messages that can occur and the
probable cause and corrective action for each message.

Off
When off at the same time that the link indicator is off, the NIC is not connected to the network or the NIC is disabled in the

Indicates that network data is being sent or received.

When off at the same time that the activity indicator is off, the NIC is not connected to the network or the NIC is disabled in the

Yellow
1000-Mbps connection
Orange
100-Mbps connection
Green
10-Mbps connection
