4. Insert the tabs and lower the memory cooling fan and shroud until it snaps into place.

5. Connect the memory cooling fan and shroud power cable to the system board. See Figure1-5.

6. Close the system.

7. Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system.
Power Supply

Removing the Power Supply


1. Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

2. Open the system.

3. Remove the expansion-card guide:
a. Pull up on the expansion-card guide release lever. See Figure1-6.
b. Slide the guide toward the power supply.
c. Lift the guide out of the system.

4. Disconnect the following power supply cables:
l P3 connector for the hard drives. See Figure1-6.
l POWER 1 connector on the system board.
l POWER 2 connector on the system board.
