• To set virtual disk as bootvd and replace physical disk in virtual disk:

racadm storage setbootvd:<controller FQDD> -vd <VirtualDisk FQDD >

• To convert the physical disk drives and assign or delete a hotspare. To scan physical disks connected to a

controller and detect problem, run the following command:

racadm storage converttononraid:<PD FQDD>

racadm storage converttoraid:<PD FQDD>

NOTE:

Convert to RAID or Non RAID is not supported on PERC 10 and BOSS controller cards.

racadm storage hotspare:<Physical Disk FQDD> -assign yes -type dhs -vdkey:

NOTE:

If the –assign option is no, you cannot add other options. If the –assign option is yes

and if the -type option is not present, the global hotspare (ghs) is created by default.
