Run a diagnostic check. For detailed subcommand usage, use the help flag (svc_diag run --help).
list
List diagnostic information. For detailed subcommand usage, use the help flag (svc_diag list --help).
Available options for diagnostic checks (run)
Option

-h, --help Show the help message and exit.
--cw_hardware
Run the diagnostics to check for any hardware-related issues that may cause the initial configuration to
fail.
--network
Run the diagnostics to check the network configuration. To check the management network cabling,
specify --mgmt_cabling_check as an additional argument.
--workloads
Run the diagnostics to check whether an appliance contains any workloads such as storage or virtual
machines.
Available options for listing diagnostic information (list)
Option
Description
--basic
List a high-level topology of the cluster and its state along with the appliances and nodes that are
found in the cluster.
--alerts
List the last ten active, unacknowledged alerts. Use the following additional arguments to list
further specific information:
--closedList the alerts that were closed in the last 24 hours.
--acknowledgedList the last ten acknowledged alerts.
To view alerts, closed and acknowledged, in the last 24 hours, you can specify both these
arguments together. For example, --alerts --closed --acknowledged
--hardware
List all information that is related to the hardware. You can specify the following additional
arguments to list information about specific components:
--fault_statusList information from the fault status register
