dot1x timeout server-timeout
Use the dot1x timeout server-timeout command in Interface Configuration
mode to set the time that the switch waits for a response from the
authentication server. To return to the default setting, use the no form of this
command.
Syntax
dot1x timeout server-timeout seconds
no dot1x timeout server-timeout
seconds — Time in seconds that the switch waits for a response from the
authentication server. (Range: 1–65535)
Default Configuration
The period of time is set to 30 seconds.

User Guidelines
The actual timeout is this parameter or the product of the RADIUS
transmission times the RADIUS timeout, whichever is smaller.
Example
The following example sets the time for the retransmission to the
authentication server to 3600 seconds.
console(config-if-gi1/0/1)# dot1x timeout server-timeout 3600
dot1x timeout supp-timeout
Use the dot1x timeout supp-timeout command to set the time that the
switch waits for a response before retransmitting an Extensible
Authentication Protocol (EAP-Request/Identity) frame to the client. To
return to the default setting, use the no form of this command.
