ipv6 hop-limit
Use the ipv6 hop-limit command to configure the hop limit used in IPv6
PDUs originated by the router. Use the no form of the command to return
the hop limit to the default setting.
Syntax
ipv6 hop-limit count
no ipv6 hop-limit
count—The number of hops before the PDU expires (Range 1-255).
Default Configuration
The default count is “not configured.”

User Guidelines
The default “not configured” sends a value of 0 in router advertisements and
a value of 64 in packets originated by the router. This is not the same as
configuring a hop limit of 64.
ipv6 host
The ipv6 host command is used to define static host name-to- ipv6 address
mapping in the host cache.
Syntax
ipv6 host name ipv6-address
no ipv6 host name
name — Host name.
ipv6-address — IPv6 address of the host.
