port
Use the port command in Logging Configuration mode to specify the port
number of a SYSLOG server to which SYSLOG messages are sent. To reset to
the default value, use the no form of the command.
Syntax
port port
no port
• port—The port number to which SYSLOG messages are sent. (Range:
1-65535)
Default Configuration
The default port number for UDP messages is 514. When DTLS is
configured (logging protocol 1), the default port number is 6514.
