User Guidelines
A MAC address consists of 12 hexadecimal digits. The MAC address of the
authentication station is sent in the User-Name attribute in a RADIUS
Access-Request for MAC Authentication Bypass configured stations.
The following table shows some example formats:

Command History
Command introduced in version 6.5 firmware.
dot1x max-reauth-req
Use the dot1x max-reauth-req command in Interface Configuration mode to
set the maximum number of times that the switch sends Extensible
Authentication Protocol EAP-Request/Identity frames to which no response is
received before restarting the authentication process. To return to the default
setting, use the no form of the command.
Syntax
dot1x max-reauth-req count
no dot1x max-reauth-req
count — Number of times that the switch sends an EAP-Request/Identity
frame before restarting the authentication process. (Range: 1–20)
Default Configuration
The default value for the count parameter is 2.
