• value—A local preference value, from 0 to 4,294,967,295 (any 32 bit
integer).

This command sets the Multi Exit Discriminator (MED) when used in a BGP
context. When there are multiple peering points between two autonomous
systems (AS), setting the MED on routes advertised by one router can
influence the other AS to send traffic through a specific peer
