N3200-ON Series Port and System LEDs
The front panel contains light emitting diodes (LEDs) that indicate the
status of system temperature, port links, power supplies, fans, stacking, and
the overall system status. A locator beacon capability is also present on the
system LEDs. See N3200-ON Series LED Definitions for more information.
N3200-ON Series LED of Management Unit in Stack and Stack Number
Display
When a switch within a stack is the primary unit, the LED of the
management unit in the stack is solid green. If the LED of the management
unit in the stack is off, the stack member is not the primary unit. The stack
number LCD displays the unit number for the stack member. Units 10, 11,
and 12 display a dot in the lower left corner of the LCD and the second digit
of the unit number. If a switch is not part of a stack (in other words, it is a
stack of one switch), the LED of the management unit in the stack is
illuminated, and the unit number is displayed.
N3200-ON Series Power Supplies
All N3200-ON PoE switches, except the N3208PX-ON, support field
replaceable unit (FRU) power supplies on the rear panel. All N3200PX-ON
models, except the N3208PX-ON, have one 715W field-replaceable power
supply accessible on the rear panel. The N3224PX-ON and N3248PX-ON
models also support an EPS external power supply in the rear for redundant
or shared power operation. The EPS should not be configured as the primary
power supply. Rebooting the switch or powering up the switch when the EPS
is the only power supply is not supported. Ensure that an internal power
supply is present and powered prior to performing switch maintenance.
When using the EPS, always connect the power to the A (left) connector.
EPS power is not available to the switch if the only EPS power connection is
to the B connector.
The N3208PX-ON is supplied with an internal DPS-320AP power supply and
also supports the ADP-320 external power supply with a connector located on
the back panel.
