There are two 6.7.0 image variants for the N3200 Series platform; one is with
the MACsec feature disabled (6.7.0.1) which is downloadable from the
www.dell.com/support (Drivers & Downloads page), and another image
variant is with MACsec feature-enabled (6.7.0.31) which is not generally
available for download due to export compliance restrictions. If a customer
wants to download the MACsec feature-enabled image:
1
Raise a $0 purchase order
2
Order the MACsec-enabled image SKU: 529-BBFW
3
Post where the user can download the MACsec-enabled image from the
Dell Digital Locker (DDL) with the valid credentials.
Only the N3248PXE platform supports the MACsec feature, while other
variants of the N3200 Series switching platform do not support MACsec
feature.
All variants of the N3200 Series switching platform, including N3248PXE can
be stacked together.
Both MACsec-enabled and MACsec-disabled images can be installed on the
N3200 Series switching platforms. However, MACsec features, and the
related CLI commands to configure them, are available only on the MACsec-
enabled image. Any attempt to configure and apply MACsec on an interface
other than on the N3248PXE variant, gives an error and is not applied.
