Syntax
standby unit
no standby

unit — Valid unit number in the stack. (Range: 1 - < maximum
supported on platform
>) (less on stacks with a restricted stack size, for
example, AdvLite). The range is limited to the number of units available
on the stack.
Default Configuration
The default configuration is to allow the software to automatically select a
standby unit.

User Guidelines
This unit comes up as the primary when the stack failover occurs. Use the no
form of this command to reset to default, in which case, a standby is
automatically selected from the existing stack units if there is no
preconfiguration.

switch renumber
Use the switch renumber command in Global Configuration mode to change
the identifier for a switch in the stack.
