Layer 3 Routing Commands 1397
Syntax
show ip bgp [vrf vrf-name]neighbors ip-address {received-
routes|routes|rejected-routes}
vrf vrf-name
— Displays the aggregate address information associated
with the named VRF.
ip-address—The IPv4 address of a BGP neighbor.
Received-routes—Display the routes received by a particular neighbor
prior to filtering.
Routes—Display both the received and advertised routes.
Rejected-routes—Display the routes rejected from the specified neighbor.
Default Configuration
By default, information about the global VRF is shown.
Command Mode
Privileged Exec mode, Global Configuration mode and all sub-modes
User Guidelines
If the vrf-name argument is specified, information pertaining to that VRF is
displayed.
The following fields are displayed.
Fields Description
Network Destination prefix
Next Hop The BGP NEXT HOP as advertised by the peer.
Metric The value of the Multi Exit Discriminator, if a MED is
received from the peer.
Local Pref The local preference received from the peer.
Path The AS path as received from the peer
Origin The value of the Origin attribute as received from the
peer follows immediately after the AS PATH.
