Configure the physical interface as a VLAN 10 member:

console(config)#interface Gi1/0/1

console(config-if-Gi1/0/1)#switchport access vlan 10

console(config-if-Gi1/0/1)#exit

For VRRP to become active, other interfaces need to be enabled for VLAN 10

such that the VRRP peers are able to establish connectivity to each other over

those interfaces as well as over Gi1/0/1.
