traceroute ethernet cfm
Use the traceroute ethernet command in Privileged Exec mode to generate a
link trace message (LTM) from the configured MEP.
Syntax

—Maintenance association level
mac-addr
The destination MAC address for which the connectivity needs to
be verified. Either MEP ID or the MAC address option can be used.
remote-mpid
The MEP ID for which connectivity is to be verified; i.e. the
destination MEP ID.
domain
Name of the maintenance domain (an alphanumeric string of up to
43 characters in length).
vlan-id
A VLAN associated with the maintenance domain. Range: 1-4093.
mpid
The MEP ID from which the loopback message needs to be
transmitted.
ttl
The number of hops over which the LTM is expected to be transmitted.
The default number is 64.
Default Configuration
By default, the traceroute command will send loopback trace messages with a
TTL of 64.
