This value is the logarithm to the base 2 of the desired mean time interval
between successive Pdelay_req messages sent by the link peer.
IEEE 802.1AS must also be enabled globally as well as on an interface to
become operational.

This example configures the switch with an initial log sync interval of 3.

Use this command to configure the number of announce intervals expiries
with no received announce message in which case the master is considered to
be no longer transmitting. Use the no form of the command to return the
announce expiries to the default.
