Layer 3 Routing Commands 1318
User Guidelines
When a neighbor is shut down, BGP first sends a NOTIFICATION message
with a Cease error code. When an adjacency is administratively shut down,
the adjacency stays down until administratively re-enabled (using no
neighbor shutdown).
Command History
Introduced in version 6.2.0.1 firmware.
Updated in version 6.3.0.1 firmware.
Example
console(config-router)#neighbor 10.130.14.55 shutdown
