Default Configuration
PIM is disabled by default.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode
User Guidelines
Either PIM-SM or PIM-DM are enabled by this command depending on the
globally configured mode. Refer to the ipv6 pim sparse-mode and ipv6 pim
dense-mode commands for further information.
Example
console(config-if-vlan3)#ipv6 pim
ipv6 pim bsr-border
Use the ipv6 pim bsr-border command to prevent bootstrap router (BSR)
messages from being sent or received through an interface. Use the no form
of this command to disable the interface from being the BSR border.
Syntax
ipv6 pim bsr-border
no ipv6 pim bsr-border

BSR-border is disabled by default.
