password
—The authentication password for the user. Range: 8-64
characters. This value can be 0 [zero] if the
no passwords min-length
command has been executed. The special characters allowed in the
password include ! # $ % & ‘ ( ) * + , - . / : ; < = > @ [ \ ] ^
_ ` { | } ~. Question marks are disallowed.
level
—The user’s privilege level. Level 0 can be assigned by a level 15 user
to another user to suspend that user’s access. Range: 0-15. Enter access
level 1 for Read Access or 15 for Read/Write Access.
profile
The name of the administrative profile(s) to apply to this user. An
administrative profile is mutually exclusive with a privilege level.
encrypted
Encrypted password entered, copied from another switch
configuration. Password strength checking is not applied to the encrypted
string.
Default Configuration
The default privilege level is 1.

User Guidelines
To use the ! character as part of the username or password string, it should be
enclosed within quotation marks. For example, username “test!xyz” password
“test!xyz” includes an exclamation point in both the username and password.
Up to 8 users may be created. If the password strength feature is enabled, it
checks for password strength and returns an appropriate error if it fails to
meet the password strength criteria. If the encrypted keyword is entered, no
password strength checking is performed as the password is encrypted and the
system does not have the capability of decrypting the password.
