radius-server source-ip
Use the radius-server source-ip command in Global Configuration mode to
specify the source IPv4 address used in the IP header for communication with
RADIUS servers. To return to the default, use the no form of this command.
0.0.0.0 is interpreted as a request to use the IPv4 address of the outgoing IP
interface.
Syntax
radius-server source-ip
source
no radius-server source-ip
source
— Specifies the source IPv4 address.
Default Configuration
The default IPv4 address is the outgoing interface IPv4 address.

User Guidelines
The command configures the source IP address present in the IPv4 header. It
is not the optional NAS-IP-Address in the RADIUS message. Use the radius-
server attribute 4 command to configure the NAS-IP-Address attribute sent in
the RADIUS Access-Request message.
Example
The following example configures the source IP address used for
communication with RADIUS servers to 10.1.1.1.
console(config)#radius-server source-ip 10.1.1.1
radius-server source-inteface
Use the radius-server source-interface command to select the interface from
which to use the IP address in the source IP address field of transmitted
RADIUS packets. Use the no form of the command to revert to the default IP
address.
