• longer-prefixes—Displays the specified prefix and any longer prefixes
within the same range.
• shorter-prefixes
[ length ]
—Used with the ipv6-prefix/prefix-length option
to show routes whose prefix length is shorter than prefix-length, and,
optionally, longer than a specified length. This option may not be given if
the longer-prefixes option is given.
• filter-list
as-path-list
—Filters the output to the set of routes that match
the specified AS Path list. This option may not be given if an ipv6-
prefix/prefix-length option is given.
Default Configuration
There is no default configuration.
Command Mode
User Exec mode, Privileged Exec mode, Global Configuration mode and all
sub-modes
User Guidelines
The following fields are displayed.
Field Description
BGP table version Each time phase 2 of the BGP decision process runs to
select new BGP routes, this number is incremented.
Status codes
• s—The route is aggregated into an aggregate address
configured with the summary-only option
• *—Dell EMC Networking BGP never displays invalid
routes; so this code is always displayed (to maintain
consistency with the industry standard)
• >—Indicates that BGP has selected this path as the
best path to the destination
•
i—If the route is learned from an internal peer
