Dell EMC Networking OpenFlow Hybrid
Overview
The following acronyms are used in this chapter.
The Dell EMC Networking OpenFlow Hybrid feature implements a true
OpenFlow hybrid model as opposed to a 'ships-in-the-night' model. Packets
may be forwarded normally via bridging or routing for interfaces that do not
have flows installed. On interfaces with flows installed, packet forwarding
proceeds normally (except as noted herein) for non-matching flows. Dell
EMC Networking OpenFlow Hybrid enables the switch to be managed by a
centralized OpenFlow Controller using the OpenFlow protocol. Dell EMC
Networking OpenFlow Hybrid is not supported in stacking deployments.
Remove all stack members prior to enabling Dell EMC Networking
OpenFlow Hybrid.
