Switch Management Commands 2091
event-number—The index of the Event that is used when a rising or
falling threshold is crossed. (Range: 1- 65535)
delta—The sampling method for the selected variable and calculating
the value to be compared against the thresholds. If the method is delta,
the selected variable value at the last sample is subtracted from the
current value, and the difference compared with the thresholds.
absolute—The sampling method for the selected variable and
calculating the value to be compared against the thresholds. If the
method is absolute, the value of the selected variable is compared
directly with the thresholds at the end of the sampling interval.
startup direction—The alarm that may be sent when this entry is first
set to valid. If the first sample (after this entry becomes valid) is greater
than or equal to the rising-threshold, and direction is equal to rising or
rising-falling, then a single rising alarm is generated. If the first sample
(after this entry becomes valid) is less than or equal to the falling-
threshold, and direction is equal to falling or rising-falling, then a single
falling alarm is generated.
owner string—Enter a name that specifies who configured this alarm. If
unspecified, the name is an empty string.
