ethtool
The ethtool provides management interface details.
fantool
The fantool tests the fans in the system, sets, and reports the fan speeds and the fan tray field replaceable unit (FRU) registers. The
fantool also reports the airflow direction of the fans. The psutool command controls the PSU fans.
Tests
The fantool tests the fans by setting them to different speeds and then verifying the configured fan speeds.
Registers and values pass as hexadecimal values with or without the preceding 0x. Fans display from 1 to Max System Fans.
