User Guidelines
Setting the hello interval to 0 disables sending on PIM Hellos.
Example
console(config-if-vlan3)#ipv6 pim hello-interval 45
ipv6 pim join-prune-interval
Use the ipv6 pim join-prune-interval command to configure the interface
join/prune interval for the PIM-SM router. Use the no form of this command
to set the join/prune interval to the default.
Syntax
ipv6 pim join-prune-interval interval
no ipv6 pim join-prune-interval
• interval — The join/prune interval (Range: 0–18000 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default join/prune interval is 60 seconds.

ipv6 pim register-threshold
Use the ipv6 pim register-threshold command to configure the Register
Threshold rate for the RP router to switch to the shortest path. Use the no
form of this command to set the register threshold rate to the default.
