Dynamic/Static Power Management Mode
In this mode, the dynamic guard band is:
Class 0 device: User-defined power limit for the port being powered up
(this value can be found with the command
show power inline
interface-id
detailed
). By default, 32 Watts.
Class 1 device: 4 Watts.
Class 2 device: 7 Watts.
Class 3 device: 15.4 Watts.
Class 4 device: User defined power limit.
Class-Based Power Management Mode
In this mode, the dynamic guard band is:
Class 0 device: User defined power limit.
Class 1 device: 4 Watts.
Class 2 device: 7 Watts.
Class 3 device: 15.4 Watts.
Class 4 AF/AT device: If AF device, 15.4 Watts. If AT device, 36 Watts.
Configuring General System Settings (Web)
This section provides information about the OpenManage Switch
Administrator pages for configuring and monitoring general system settings
on the Dell Networking N1500, N2000, N3000, and N4000 Series switches.

System Information
Use the System Information page to configure the system name, contact
name, location, and asset tag.
To display the System Information page, click System

Information in the navigation panel.
NOTE: A Telnet session to the switch can also be initiated from the System
Information page.
