Layer 3 Routing Commands 1303
In IPv6 Address Family Configuration mode, the command accepts either an
IPv4 or an IPv6 address. For IPv6, BGP uses an IPv6 address from the local
interface that terminates the peering session.
Command History
Introduced in version 6.2.0.1 firmware.
Example
console(config-router-af)#neighbor FE80::0202:B3FF:FE1E:8329 next-hop-self
neighbor password
Use the neighbor password command to enable MD5 authentication of TCP
segments sent to and received from a neighbor, and to configure an
authentication key.
