distance
Assign a weight (for prioritization) to all routes in the RIP routing table or to a specic route. Lower weights (“administrative
distance”) are preferred.

Syntax
distance weight [ip-address mask [prefix-name]]
To return to the default values, use the no distance weight [ip-address mask] command.
Parameters
weight Enter a number from 1 to 255 for the weight (for prioritization). The default is 120.
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address, in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D), of the host
or network to receive the new distance metric.
mask If you enter an IP address, also enter a mask for that IP address, in either dotted
decimal format or /prex format (/x).
prex-name (OPTIONAL) Enter a congured prex list name.
Defaults weight = 120
