forward-delay
The amount of time the interface waits in the Listening state and the Learning state before transitioning to the Forwarding state.
Syntax
forward-delay seconds
To return to the default setting, use the no forward-delay command.
Parameters
seconds Enter the number of seconds the Dell Networking OS waits before transitioning
STP to the Forwarding state. The range is from 4 to 30. The default is 15 seconds.
Defaults 15 seconds

Set the time interval between generation of the spanning tree bridge protocol data units (BPDUs).
Syntax
hello-time seconds
To return to the default value, use the no hello-time command.
Parameters
seconds Enter a number as the time interval between transmission of BPDUs. The range is
from 1 to 10. The default is 2 seconds.
