Up-MEP: monitors the forwarding path internal to a bridge on the customer or
provider edge; on Dell Networking systems, the internal forwarding path is
eectively the switch fabric and forwarding engine.
Down-MEP: monitors the forwarding path external to another bridge.
domain [name |

Enter the keyword domain and then enter the domain name or domain level.
ma-name name Enter the keyword ma-name and then enter the name of the maintenance
association.
mepid mep-id Enter an MEP ID. The range is from 1 to 8191.

Create a maintenance intermediate point (MIP).
