Usage Information
You cannot set this conguration for a peer that is associated with a peer group. Similarly, you cannot
associate a peer to a peer group if that peer is already congured with these settings.
Related Commands bgp four-octet-as-support — enables 4-byte support for the BGP process.
neighbor default-originate
Inject the default route to a BGP peer or neighbor.
Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} default-originate [route-map map-
name]
To remove a default route, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} default-
originate command.
Parameters
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
peer-group-name Enter the name of the peer group to set the default route of all routers in that peer
group.
route-map map-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map then the name of a congured route
map.
Defaults Not congured.
