Usage Information
A route reector reects routes to the neighbors assigned to the cluster. Neighbors in the cluster do not
need not to be fully meshed. By default, when you use no route reflector, the internal BGP (IBGP)
speakers in the network must be fully meshed.
The rst time you enter this command, the router congures as a route reector and the specied BGP
neighbors congure as clients in the route-reector cluster.
When you remove all clients of a route reector using the no neighbor route-reflector-client
command, the router no longer functions as a route reector.
If the clients of a route reector are fully meshed, you can congure the route reector to not reect routes
to specied clients by using the no bgp client-to-client reflection command.
This command automatically restarts the neighbor session for the conguration to take eect.
Related Commands bgp client-to-client reection — enables route reection between the route reector and the clients.
