System Time and Date
The commands in this section congure time values on the system, either using the Dell Networking OS, or the hardware, or using the
network time protocol (NTP). With NTP, the switch can act only as a client to an NTP clock host.
For more information, see “Network Time Protocol” of the Management section in the Dell Networking OS Conguration Guide.
The commands in this chapter are generally supported on Dell Networking OS with some exceptions, as notes in the Command History
elds.

clock summer-time date
Set a date (and time zone) on which to convert the switch to daylight saving time on a one-time basis.
Syntax
clock summer-time time-zone date start-month start-day start-year start-time
end-month end-day end-year end-time [offset]
To delete a daylight saving time zone conguration, use the no clock summer-time command.
Parameters
time-zone Enter the three-letter name for the time zone. This name is displayed in the show clock
output.
start-month Enter the name of one of the 12 months in English. You can enter the name of a day to
change the order of the display to time day month year.
