Usage Information Multiple logging servers of both IPv4 and/or IPv6 can be congured.
Related Commands
• logging on — enables the logging asynchronously to logging buer, console, Syslog server, and terminal lines.
• logging trap — enables logging to the Syslog server based on severity.
logging buered
Enable logging and specify which messages are logged to an internal buer. By default, all messages are logged to the internal buer.
Syntax
logging buffered [level] [size]
To return to the default values, use the default logging buffered command.
To disable logging stored to an internal buer, use the no logging buffered command.
Parameters
level (OPTIONAL) Indicate a value from 0 to 7 or enter one of the following equivalent words:
emergencies, alerts, critical, errors, warnings, notifications,
informational, or debugging. The default is 7 or debugging.
size (OPTIONAL) Indicate the size, in bytes, of the logging buer. The number of messages
buered depends on the size of each message. The range is from 40960 to 524288. The
default is 40960 bytes.
Defaults level = 7; size = 40960 bytes
