Usage Information
You can congure multiple time-serving hosts. From these time-serving hosts, the Dell Networking OS chooses
one NTP host with which to synchronize. To determine which server is selected, use the show ntp
associations command.
Because many polls to NTP hosts can aect network performance, Dell Networking recommends limiting the
number of hosts congured.
By default, the system performs a time synchronization if the time dierence from the time source is greater than
one second.

ntp source
Specify an interface’s IP address to be included in the NTP packets.
Syntax
ntp source interface
To delete the conguration, use the no ntp source command.
