ip domain-name
Congure one domain name for the switch.
Syntax
ip domain-name name
To remove the domain name, use the no ip domain-name command.
Parameters
name Enter one domain name to be used to complete unqualied names (that is, incomplete
domain names that cannot be resolved).
Defaults Not congured.

Usage Information
You can only congure one domain name with the ip domain-name command. To congure more than one
domain name, congure the ip domain-list command up to six times.
To enable dynamic resolution of hosts, use the following steps:
• specify a domain name server with the ip name-server command
• enable DNS with the ip domain-lookup command
