You can repeat this command to configure additional tagged ports for the VLAN.
Configuring a source session
Following are the steps for configuring a source session on a switch.
You can configure the below steps on other source switches to configure additional source ports for this RPM session.
1. Configure a new RPM session and specifying type as rpm defined a RPM session.

The session-id needs to be unique.
2. Configure the source ports or list of ports, ingress/egress traffic to be monitored.

source {interface | range | any} destination remote—vlan vlan-id direction {rx | tx | both}
3. Activate a RPM session. no disable command is mandatory in order for a RPM session to be active.

4. (Optional) Enable flow-based monitoring on a flow by flow basis and also for VLAN as source.

Configuring a destination session
Following are the steps for configuring a destination session on a switch.
You can configure the below steps on other destination switches to configure additional destination ports for this RPM session.
1. Configure the destination session for RPM.

monitor session session-id
2. Associate the Layer 2 VLAN used to transport monitored traffic with this destination session.
MONITOR SESSION mode
source remote-vlan vlan-id destination interface direction {rx | tx | both}
3. (Optional) Configure destination ports so that the VLAN tag is added to the monitored traffic.
MONITOR SESSION mode
tagged destination interface
To configure destination ports as untagged ports, enter the untagged destinationcommand.
