lldp port-description-tlv advertise
Specifies whether to advertise the interface description or the port id in the port description TLV.
Syntax
lldp port-description-tlv advertise [description | port-id]
Parameters
description Advertise interface description.
port-id Advertise port id.
Default Interface description is advertised.

Determines whether to advertise the interface description or the port ID in the port description TLV.
According to RFC 2863, the LLDPLocPortDesc and ifDescr object values must be identical.
To be compliant with RFC 2863, use the port-id option with the lldp port-description-tlv
advertise command. The port-id option in this command returns the same value (port ID) for both
LLDPLocPortDesc and ifDescr objects.
