Usage Information
When you use the log option, the CP processor logs details about the packets that match. Depending on how
many packets match the log entry and at what rate, the CP may become busy as it has to log these packets
details.
NOTE: When you congure the ACL logging and byte counters simultaneously, byte counters may
display an incorrect value. Congure packet counters with logging instead.
Related Commands
denycongure a MAC ACL lter to drop packets.
seqcongure a MAC ACL lter with a specied sequence number.
IP Prex List Commands
When you create an access-list without any rule and then apply it to an interface, the ACL behavior reects implicit permit.
To congure or enable IP prex lists, use these commands.
clear ip prex-list
Reset the number of times trac mets the conditions (“hit” counters) of the congured prex lists.
Syntax
clear ip prefix-list [prefix-name]
Parameters
prex-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the name of the congured prex list to clear only counters for that
prex list, up to 140 characters long.
Defaults Clears “hit” counters for all prex lists unless a prex list is specied.
