Parameters
remote-id Enter the keyword remote-id to congure the system to enable the remote-id string in
option-82.
remote-id
hostname
Enter the keywords remote-id hostname to congure the port as the remote id in
option–82.
remote-id mac Enter the keywords remote-id mac to congure the chassis MAC address as the
remote-id in option–82.
remote-id WORD Enter the remote-id WORD option to congure the system to enable the remote-id
string in option 82.
circuit-id Enter the keyword circuit-id to congure the system to enable the circuit-id string in
option–82.
circuit-id
hostname:port
Enter the keywords circuit-id hostname:port to congure the circuit-id format
that is sent to the server.
trust-downstream Congure the system to trust Option 82 when it is received from the previous-hop router.
vpn Enter the keyword vpn to add VPN/VRF related sub-option to relay agent information
Option 82.
NOTE: Adds the VPN/VRF related sub-options into the relay agent
information option(82). When DHCP broadcasts are forwarded by the relay
agent from clients to DHCP server.
Default Disabled.
