Syntax
rate-shape [kbps | pps] peak-rate [burst-kbps | burst-packets] commited [kbps |
pps] commited-rate [burst-kbps | burst-packets]
Parameters
pps Enter the keyword pps to specify the rate limit in packets per second (pps).
kbps Enter the keyword kbps to specify the rate limit in Kilobits per second (Kbps). Make the
following value a multiple of 64. The range is from 0 to 40000000. The default granularity
is Megabits per second (Mbps).
burst-kbps (OPTIONAL) Enter the burst size in KB. The range is from 0 to 40000. The default is 100.
burst-packets Enter the peak rate or committed rate burst size in packets per seconds.
Defaults Burst size is 10KB. Granularity for rate is Mbps unless you use the kbps option.

Usage Information On 40-port 10G stack-unit if the trac is shaped between 64 and 1000 Kbs, for some values, the shaped rate is
much less than the value congured.You must congure the peak rate and peak burst size using the same value:
kilobits or packets per second. Similarly, you must congure the committed rate and committed burst size with the
Quality of Service (QoS) 1291
