Usage Information You must include the colon (:) when entering this command.
After reformatting is complete, three empty directories are automatically created on ash: CRASH_LOG_DIR,
TRACE_LOG_DIR and NVTRACE_LOG_DIR.
CAUTION: This command deletes all les, including the startup conguration le. So, after executing
this command, consider saving the running cong as the startup cong (use the write memory
command or copy running-config startup-config command).
Related Commands
• copy – copy the current conguration to either the startup-conguration le or the terminal.
• show le-systems – display information about the le systems on the system.
fsck ash
Checks the ash le system for errors.
Syntax
fsck {flash: | usbflash:}
Parameters
ash:
For a directory on the internal Flash, enter flash:// directory name.
usbash:
For a directory on the external USB ash, enter usbflash:// directory name.
Defaults None
