clear dampening
Clear the dampening counters on all the interfaces or just the specied interface.
Syntax
clear dampening [interface]
Parameters
interface (OPTIONAL) Enter any of the following keywords and the interface information to clear
counters from a specied interface:
• For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number.
• For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then
the slot/port[/subport] information.
•
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the slot/
port information.
Defaults Without an interface specied, the command clears all interface dampening counters.
