Organizationally-specic TLVs
There are eight TLV types dened by the 802.1 and 802.3 working groups as a basic part of LLDP. Congure OS10 to advertise any or all of
these TLVs.
Optional TLVs
4 — Port
description
User-dened alphanumeric string that describes the port.
5 — System name User-dened alphanumeric string that identies the system.
6 — System
description
Detailed description of all components of the system.
7 — System
capabilities
Determines the capabilities of the system.
8 — Management
address
Network address of the management interface.
802.1X Organizationally-specic TLVs
127 — Link
aggregation
Indicates whether the link (associated with the port on which the LLDPDU is transmitted) can be aggregated. Also
indicates whether the link is currently aggregated and provides the aggregated port identier if the link is
aggregated.
127 — Port-VLAN ID Untagged VLAN to which a port belongs.
127 — Protocol

Not supported.

127 — MAC/PHY
conguration/status
Indicates duplex and bit rate capability and the current duplex and bit rate settings of the sending device. Also
indicates whether the current settings are due to auto-negotiation or due to manual conguration.
127 — Power via

Not supported.
127 — Maximum
frame size
Maximum frame size capability of the MAC and PHY.
