Version Description
6.1.1.0 Introduced on the E-Series.
Usage
Information
You can configure multiple time-serving hosts. From these time-serving hosts, the Dell Networking OS
chooses one NTP host with which to synchronize. To determine which server is selected, use the show
ntp associations command.
Because many polls to NTP hosts can affect network performance, Dell Networking recommends limiting
the number of hosts configured.
By default, the system performs a time synchronization if the time difference from the time source is
greater than one second.
